The answer is yes! You can freeze rolls and brioche burger buns easily, and they last for about 6 months.
Best Way to Freeze Hamburger Buns
Freezing hamburger buns is incredibly easy!
If you already have the plastic packaging they came in, simply put them in that and twist it up and seal the twist (either with the tie that came with it or even a piece of tape).
Then, store the entire packaging in the freezer where you can find space.
They’ll be at their best for about 6 months.
If you don’t have the original packaging, you can use Ziploc bags, an airtight container like Tupperware, or wrap them really tightly in Saran wrap and make sure there is nowhere that the freezer air is touching the bun.
How to Freeze Hot Dog Buns
Freezing hot dog buns can also be done in the packaging it came up.
Decide on how many to freeze and arrange them in the plastic packaging and seal up the outside with a twist tie or by using tape to make sure that no cold air gets directly in.
Find a space in the freezer, and enjoy up to 6 months later (they’ll last after that, but they just will lose some of their taste and may get freezer burn).
You can also freeze rolls and brioche buns using this method.

How to Defrost Hamburger Buns, Hot Dog Buns, and Rolls
There are a couple easy ways to defrost buns!
At Room Temperature
Simply take the buns out of the freezer and leave them on the counter at room temperature.
They will defrost at room temperature in about 30 minutes to an hour.
In the Fridge
Put the buns into the refrigerator after removing them from the freezer, and leave them in their overnight.
The next day, they should be thawed enough to enjoy.
In the Microwave
Take any wrapping off the bun and put it on a microwaveable plate.
Put a damp paper towel over the bun (not soaking, make sure to wring it out) and microwave for 15-25 seconds.
The damp paper towel will help keep the moisture in.
Check on the bun, and if it’s still frozen, microwave for 10 second intervals.
In the Oven
Take all of the saran wrap off the buns or remove from their packaging and place them in the oven at 350F.
Put the hamburger and hot dog buns on a baking sheet and leave in the oven for about 15-20 minutes.
Make sure to brush the tops with butter if you can to keep that moisture in.
